Fishing on a String Tournament Trails

Please log onto the B.A.S.S. web site http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/index and watch the weigh in's and look for the Ultimate Bucket Mouth's Pro team Brian Kanke and Andrew Upshaw as they test their skills against other pros. I will have photo's and video's of this event when I return.           

The BFL cowboy division held it's final single day event on the Red River going out of the Grand Ecore Recreation Area. The event drew 96 boaters and 95 co anglers, the winner on the boater side was Dicky Newberry who brought a five fish limit to the scales that weighed 16.07 pounds. Dicky said he arrived at the red river and checked a few things out for a couple of hours and he was ready for the tournament. 2nd place on the boater side was Aaron Johnson who had 15.05 pounds. Rounding out the top three was Glen Freeman who 15.03 pounds. The next event in this division is in August on the 28th and 29th. Congratulations Dicky on the win.               

The co angler winner Warren Whitaker said he has never seen this water and he was there to have a good time, well as luck would have it Warren ended up having a great time by catching 5 fish that gave him a total weight of 12.10 pounds.
